Our Painting Process
At Premium Coat, we take pride in our work ethic and process. Here is a brief overview of the painting process we’ll follow over the course of your project
Setup
Interior: Your furniture and décor are covered with new plastic in the center of the room, and the floor is protected with drop cloths.
Exterior: Areas to be painted are either power washed or hand washed to remove dirt and mildew.
Preparation
Interior: We will fill cracks and holes in ceilings and walls, seal stains, and scuff-sand surfaces.
Exterior: We will scrape off loose paint, scuff-sand glossy areas, and caulk previously caulked gaps to prevent water intrusion.
Painting
Interior: Any repaired areas are primed, and premium-quality paint is applied to ensure a uniform finish.
Exterior: The repaired areas are primed before applying premium-quality paint to your home’s exterior, ensuring a uniform finish.
Clean Up
We treat your home just like it is our own – with the utmost care and respect. Therefore, we try to leave everything right where we found it and we pay close attention to doing a thorough job cleaning the work area.
Inspection
After our own inspection, we will invite you on a detailed walk-through of our work. You may also also be contacted for a follow-up satisfaction survey so that we know how we measured up to your expectations.
